Muldannuzzi Creations: A collaboration between Christine Muldoon Iannuzzi and Peter Iannuzzi
Christine finds her inspiration in nature. The shape and form of trees, rocks, and other natural elements influence her vessels. The rhythm of the Colorado landscape and the gradation of the plains to foothills to mountains are the inspiration for texture, color, and surface of her work.
Pete's background includes a wide variety of industrial roles including railroad mechanic, heavy metal fabrication and welding, aerospace, and custom motorcycles. This has led to an appreciation of unique metallic objects, especially for items created in a time when technology was limited or non-existent - think medieval blacksmithing and industrial revolution machinery. This appreciation further extends to art, especially mixed media objects that incorporate metal with ceramic or wood.
A combination of both nature and industry come together to form Muldannuzzi Creations.
